Success is often based on the number of times you try We have all heard those phrases: "If only I'd tried one more time..." "If only I'd ...." "If only" is one of the world's greatest "loser phrases". It's a "cop out". Simply keep going if you have passion and belief in an idea or concept. History is littered with "if only" people. Here are some examples of people who didn't use the word "if only I'd..." They just kept going, showing determination and persistence and belief in themselves. According to History Coca Cola Company Apparently only sold 400 cokes in their first year. Gillette Sold only a total of 51 safety razors in their first year. Chester Carlson Is the person who invented the photocopier and was rejected by over 40 companies before acceptance of his idea. Henry Ford Apparently went bankrupt twice before succeeding. Sir Donald Bradman Failed in his first test match and was dropped from the team and had his fair share of "ducks". Dr Suess An author who was rejected by over 20 publishers before selling his first book which sold over 6 million copies. Beethoven Beethoven was deaf yet created some of the worlds most extraordinary music. Sabeer Bhatia - Hotmail Sabeer launched a free e-mail service in 1996. Within two years he had sold the business to Microsoft for US $400 million and boasted 22 million subscribers. Walt Disney Was fired by a newspaper editor for lacking good original ideas. Michael Jordan Was cut from his high school basketball team!!! Have self belief and just keep trying!
